A year ago, we discovered this gem while exploring the area, and what a delightful find it was! This cozy pub offers cask ales and local craft baked goods, and we were welcomed by a warm and friendly group of locals. The selection of fantastic beers was impressive, all served perfectly. After enjoying many casual ales during our travels, I must say how refreshing it was to meet someone passionate about their craft and who thoughtfully selects their beer offerings. The conversation and storytelling were exceptional, and I truly wish we could have a place as wonderful as this one back home!
It appears that Sad has permanently closed as of my visit to Callendar in June 2021. I'm sharing this information so that others can be aware of the situation.

A very welcoming pub with an excellent selection of craft real ales, many of which come from local breweries.
