We arrived just as the restaurant was opening. The staff still seated us and gave us menus to look at while they finished setting up. The waitress took our coffee order so that it could be made as soon as the machine warmed up. What User dislikes about Candy:
We walked in at 10.30am for breakfast, and was happy there was a table for the two of us. After ordering our coffee, the waitress told us that there would be a 20 minute wait on our food. I ordered a soy cappuccino, which was not very good. The milk looked like it had curdled. After 30 minutes, our food arrived. The bagel I ordered was not bagel; but bread in the shape of a bagel. We are native. we like to eat a lot. the first time we ate here. absolutely beautiful! service is also excellent! even the waiter tipped! that will certainly be a regular! many thanks for the wonderful breakie.
I always try to go where the locals go. that was not an exception. great breakfast, good price. more important, good coffee!
We called into Candy for the first time for a late breakfast on Thursday 03/11/22 immediately made very welcome from Staff. Excellent meal choices from the menu planner chosen meals on the receipt]. We were served within 10-15 min's excellent food presentation... large portions. Overall a great atmosphere in a spacious environment with plenty of dining space dine outside if preferred. Parking opposite Candy. Menu prices very reasonable we will defiantly return living locally.
This restaurant is not too shabby. The food is delicious and lives up to its name by being very sweet. However, the service could use some improvement. I wouldn't recommend sitting outside because the pigeons can be quite a nuisance.
