The restaurant offers good wholesome brunch food with a twist, such as shroomie bruschetta. However, some found the prices a bit high for what was served. The atmosphere and coffee were well-loved by all, with special mention of the loose-leaf chai leaves. Overall, the cafe was described as cute with nice staff, but some felt the menu could be expanded. Personal service and great coffee were highlighted by another reviewer, along with a recommendation for the "I'll Brutus" breakfast. The cafe was praised for its friendly staff, fantastic food, and great vibe, with favorites including the iced coffee and hazelnut French toast. The place was also noted for its inner west vibe and fabulous music selection. Despite some mixed reviews, the general consensus seems to be positive, with many enjoying their meals and the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
What ChangingSkies likes about Mrs P's:
There’s utter devotion to the bean here, and real tea in a pot. Interesting menu, more than the usual cafe staples, cooked in-house. Staff are a great team and suoer friendly. Kids welcome although space not suitable for prams or large groups. Huge office following every morning queued for their morning hit. Always drop by when I’m in the area and consistently good. What Rosalyn Schimmel doesn't like about Mrs P's:
i feel like it was so meh. i was really excited to come here after reading all the amazing reviews but it was just very mediocre. the smashed avo on rye was ok but didin't have anything special that would make me choose this over making it at home. i much prefer the picnic fave which is a quite a unqiue avo on toast from the picnic in burwood. it's quite a cute cafe but i feel like the menu needs to be longer for me...
