I'm not one to call sacrilege when an Italian restaurant makes its carbonara with cream (even though I am a fervent opponent of the practice). However, this carbonara just didn't taste good. With a very cheese and cream-heavy sauce, it was more akin to low-quality storebought macaroni. It didn't help that the pancetta tasted more like boiled ham. Maybe the pizzas are better.
