We were so pleased to find this Caribbean gem in Ocean Isle Beach,NC. We enjoyed jerk chicken I brought leftovers home) and stewed chicken and a side of fried plantains. So nice to meet the Owner,Linda and her Jamician husband she met years ago on vacation) who was cooking in the kitchen. Enjoyed the cold Red Stripe beer in big bottles. They do take reservations. We arrived right at 5pm when they opened. Staff was very friendly. Waiter started off by saying the flavors were not spicy but there was a lot of flavor. We ordered the coconut shrimp as appetizer. They were okay, average coconut shrimp. $10.50 for 6. Waiter said they are known for their steaks and ribs. So hubby ordered the strip steak which marinated for 24 hours. I ordered the ribs.
