Was Ashley Taylor at Amarachi a mag?
Stopped here yesterday on a whim with my bestfriend yesterday. It was a great day outside and the have a great outdoor space. Our server Barbara was wayyyy beyond amazing, engaging and hilarious. I'll visit again just to see her. But honestly the fooodddd it took a lil bit to come out but it's because EVERYTHING is so fresh! I had the salmon with a parmesan cheese sauce, spinach, jollof and a pitcher of mango mimosa.... View all feedback.
What nic s dislikes about Amarachi:
Had a birthday there unfortunately a lot of my guest didn't show up but the service was trashy. I did not like the fact that there was no actual cleanup before we booked our spot. Evidently there was a party before mine and they did not clean up before our party!2nd My daughter was setting up and had complaints cs staff didn't want to involve themselves in helping but wanted a tip afterwards??!The service was spotty... I was excited about the location of this restaurant as it 's in an otherwise pretty dead zone for food but I would not go back here again. At least, definitely not for lunch. I met someone here for lunch at 12:30 on a Thursday and we were the only ones in the place. We thought great, service will be fast then! No, it took about 30 minutes for them to get us a burger and a steak salad with us being the only diners in the restaurant. There were about 4 staff members milling

Thank you MJ for your positive energy!Thank you Sam for being an organized and personable manager. I?ll be back and I?ll be back for ladies night on Sunday?s. Oh! I forgot to mention the sweet plantains and the jollof rice, heaven!
It was worth visiting this Nigerian restaurant. Their food seemed to be really amazing. People were really welcoming and helpful with the orders. So a 10/10 for service. We ordered jolaf rice with jerk chicken and tuna with jolaf rice. The rice wassomething I never tasted. They seasoned it so well and it aas a bit spicy but it was a good kind of spice. You don’t feel itinstantly but after a while it hits you. The seasoning for jerk chicken was also kind of unique. I tried the salmon from myfriend but it kind of had a fishy flavor which didn’t go well with my taste bud.

No, it took about 30 minutes for them to get us a burger and asteak salad with us being the only diners in the restaurant. There were about 4 staff members milling around the front area, andpresumably some folks in the back making the food. Service was inattentive and surly. The person who seated us did not seemhappy to have to wait on us. I ordered a steak salad with rare steak and my steak was not rare when it arrived. It was aboutmedium, and pretty dry and tough. Additionally, the place reeked of incense smoke which is fine if you like incense but is notgreat for a restaurant if you have clientele that prefers to be able to smell their food over the scent of incense. Afterward,my hair continued to smell like incense at work. Halfway through our meal, they started blasting club music even though therewas still no one in the restaurant. Perhaps overcompensating for the lack of patrons? This might be a nice place for happy hourdrinks or late night dancing, but it 's not a good restaurant for lunch.
