Was PaulP at Palermo Pub a mag?
Found from Google … looking for somewhere on return from Niagara to Toronto after an action packed day zip lining jet boating on the river. As mentioned in many of the reviews, WINGS were amazing and ordered by the lb, not in number !! Staff extremely friendly, as were other patrons local and otherwise . Good choice of beers and summer specials ‘hard’ ice teas etc . Will be going again ; View all feedback.
What RAlforque dislikes about Palermo Pub:
Reservation went well. Table ready when we arrived. Service and food was amazing until karaoke started. Music was so loud (not karaoke) that I couldn’t hear the person next to me. The bar/restaurant isn’t very big so there was no need to blast the music so LOUD! We asked the DJ to lower down a bit, he did, but quickly went back up. Everyone inside was looking at each other dumb founded why the music is so loud. And n... View all feedback.
Well, aside from the small children loitering the front door.. this place was pretty good! Fries are delicious! Service is friendly and efficient. Recommend the mushroom and pepperoni calzone
I visited the Palmero with my wife and teenage sons. It was a Friday around 8pm and was pretty full. It has a neighbourhood pub feel with some sports on large screen TV's on 2 walls. The food was pretty good. Their home made lasagna was particularly good. They have a good selection of beers on tap.The waitress was a mature gal who was very efficient.
We dropped into the Palermo Pub for a casual Friday dinner after a busy week. It was super welcoming with people of all ages and backgrounds - couples, families and groups of friends all clearly enjoying themselves. We both opted for the special - Miss Vickies fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. Quite frankly the BEST fish and chips we've had in forever. Crispy, flavourful coating, light, flaky fish - and a huge portion. The fries were also also - well cooked and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The coleslaw was great too - nicely done. Service was attentive and friendly, super nice too. We will def be back again. Their pulled pork nachos that we've had on a previous visit were amazing as well. Great local family pub restaurant with great food, cold beers and friendly staff. Awesome way to start the weekend!
I tried the classic fish and chips and it was delicious! The service was quick and friendly, and the portion sizes were generous. I would definitely order it again!
