Palermo Pub - Bronte
Palermo Pub
Description
The restaurant received mixed reviews, with some diners praising the food and service, especially the wings, while others were disappointed by loud music during karaoke night or slow service at peak times. The atmosphere was described as lively, with a friendly staff and decent food options, particularly good for wings and pizza. Despite some hiccups, patrons generally enjoyed the experience and would consider visiting again for the tasty food and welcoming environment.

Well, aside from the small children loitering the front door.. this place was pretty good! Fries are delicious! Service is friendly and efficient. Recommend the mushroom and pepperoni calzone
I visited the Palmero with my wife and teenage sons. It was a Friday around 8pm and was pretty full. It has a neighbourhood pub feel with some sports on large screen TV's on 2 walls. The food was pretty good. Their home made lasagna was particularly good. They have a good selection of beers on tap.The waitress was a mature gal who was very efficient.
We dropped into the Palermo Pub for a casual Friday dinner after a busy week. It was super welcoming with people of all ages and backgrounds - couples, families and groups of friends all clearly enjoying themselves. We both opted for the special - Miss Vickies fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. Quite frankly the BEST fish and chips we've had in forever. Crispy, flavourful coating, light, flaky fish - and a huge portion. The fries were also also - well cooked and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The coleslaw was great too - nicely done. Service was attentive and friendly, super nice too. We will def be back again. Their pulled pork nachos that we've had on a previous visit were amazing as well. Great local family pub restaurant with great food, cold beers and friendly staff. Awesome way to start the weekend!
The reservation process went smoothly and our table was ready upon arrival. The service and food were exceptional until the karaoke started. The music was so loud (not the karaoke itself) that it was difficult to hear the person sitting next to me. The restaurant and bar are not very large, so there was no need for such loud music. We politely asked the DJ to lower the volume, which he did briefly, but then it quickly went back up. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was awkward as everyone looked around wondering why the music was so deafeningly loud, especially since no one was even singing. I would advise against going to this restaurant on karaoke night, as the DJ's volume control is subpar.
