JJ Cafe used to be a hidden gem for weekend brunch. However, since the owner retired, it has transformed into a restaurant focusing on healthy alternatives, primarily offering salads. I tried the spicy broccoli salad. View all feedback.
Absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious, and the staff is even more wonderful. I highly recommend JJ's. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!

1) **Hangover Benedict ($17)** – This dish features an 8 oz charbroiled Angus sirloin topped with spinach, roasted red peppers, and three poached eggs drizzled with demi-glace, all served on grilled ciabatta. While the price is reasonable, the sirloin was a bit dry and lacked seasoning. However, the other components were fantastic! The sauce paired nicely with the red peppers, poached eggs, and ciabatta, and the home fries with onions and peppers were simply divine! 2) **Eggs Benedict ($9.50)** – This classic comes with two poached eggs and Canadian bacon on a grilled English muffin, all topped with whole grain mustard cream. It includes a side of home fries, and I would definitely order this again. The bacon looked more like ham, but it was still delicious. The muffin was lightly toasted, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I’m not usually a mustard fan, but the mustard cream complemented the poached eggs and muffin wonderfully. 3) **Make Your Own Omelet** – Served with a side of home fries and two slices of toast, this omelet was large, filling, and perfectly grilled. I would definitely order this again. 4) **Banana Bread French Toast ($8.50)** – This dish features delicious slices of banana bread that are lightly coated in French toast batter and gently fried. It's topped with caramel sauce and plenty of banana slices, satisfying any sweet tooth. I would absolutely order this again.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to dine, featuring excellent service! The decor is vibrant and cultural, adorned with paintings of Nina Simone and other notable figures. The waitstaff is attentive, and the food is absolutely amazing! The French toast is a must-try! It’s a laid-back place located on the north side of Brockton. While the parking lot is small, there’s ample street parking available. I appreciate how quickly the food is served, which is perfect for me since I’m often in a hurry when I visit. Depending on the day, it can get quite busy, but the wait is usually no longer than 20 minutes.
Food was excellent! Nice presentation and everything tasted great. The poached eggs and home fries were cooked perfectly and the spicy fried corned beef hash balls were fantastic. I also couldn't help but to order the creme brulee french toast. Very good as well! Highly recommended.
