Was Gobhian at Chapter IV a mag?
Cute location! House converted into a cafe works really well especially with the the balcony that borders the cafe. Food was tasty but I had menu envy when I saw someone order the Soft Shell Crab Benedict but I guess there's always next time. View all feedback.
What Sonia Bartell dislikes about Chapter IV:
What happened to the play area? Once quite a nice big area to play in, it's been halved in size to fit in two extra tables that just block the way into the play area. Coffee and pastry was just average so not even worth going to for the food. View all feedback.
Despite the hot weather in Brisbane, we chose to sit on the terrace overlooking the city. The restaurant had retractable awnings to shield us from the sun, but there was also a cozy, air-conditioned indoor seating area. The ambience was relaxing and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort during the hot weather. I would definitely return to this restaurant, especially for the amazing view. I can't wait to try their desserts next time!
With 20 minutes to spare I visit for a quick coffee at 11am. The Brekky crowd have left and service is quick. My Cafe Latte is hot, intense and flavoursome, just the way I like it. Thank you Guys!
The menu on Zomato is outdated. I ordered the Peach Melba French toast and chocolate hazelnut thickshake. The shake was a large portion. The cinnamon poached peach was surprisingly delicious! I also enjoyed the whipped vanilla bean mascarpone. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the charming veranda until after I finished my meal, but I'm sure it would have been a lovely place to sit.
Went here for weekend brunch with the partner and a friend.<br/ <br/ We ordered various coffees each quickly came out; smooth Campos blend. For meals, we tried the recommended Soft Shell Eggs Benedict, Hash Cakes and Fritters. All were generously portioned, delicious with a twist of freshness and textures that made each unique in their own way.<br/ <br/ Service was very friendly and efficient. Casual ambience in an airy Queenslander with indoor and outdoor seating available, including a back verandah that overlooks the neighbourhood with city views. Street parking is a bit difficult (pertains to the entire bustling Paddington neighbourhood). Reasonable prices.<br/ <br/ Overall, a solid brunch spot.
