Was Keara Little at Arriva a mag?
I started eating in this restaurant decades ago when it first opened and was the only decent place to get pizza is good as one got in Naples in Brisvegas. Things have moved on since then at good wood fired pizza is relatively commonplace but the nice surprise is that a recent visit here showed the quality had improved over time despite changes in ownership and both the pastas such as porcine ravioli and pizzas were o... What Rashawn Dickinson dislikes about Arriva:
The pizza bases, particularly their chili garlic bread is good, although the 2nd time we ate at Arriva it was over cooked. Pizza topping very bland despite asking for extra garlic and Risotto bit too much on the rice pudding side for my taste. The staff are nice but the restaurant doesn't cater to special requests particularly if it is not considered traditional. I probably would have rated them 3.5 * if it had been... View all feedback.
Try the porcini raviloi, my absolute favourite! Also, if you love red wine try the Montepulciano. Fantastic staff, authentic food & a humble restaurant. My favourite local!
Worst restaurant I've ever been to in Brisbane. Rude staff and brunt pizza and small pasta servings. Very upset since it was for my Birthday and was embarrassing for me as the one who booked it.
Finally got to try out Arriva the other night & was not disappointed. I had my heart set on the dish which Satiety Society had mentioned, the sand crab ravioli which is one of the house specials. It lived up to it's reputation for packing the flavors too & that pasta was so silky & fresh
Have eaten here a few times and would say it is quite average Italian cuisine. not great, but not terrible. do not order the beet ravioli, although it does not work as a dish. the staff can be mixed with regard to its attitude. I am not a fan of crayons on the table, but hey whatever
I lived in a new farm and a year later I still dreamed of the sand crab ravioli all the way away from the fairns. the bisque is the most delicious sauce I ever had. this restaurant is fantastic value for money, the quality of eating is amazing and byo which is not to love. can't wait to come back to brisbane.
