Was User at Phi Phi 2 a mag?
Our Melbourne friends dragged us to this cozy resto in St Albans. To cut the chase, the oyster and green papaya salad was a superb entree choice. The charcoal BBQ right in front of your nose just tickled our appetite even more. I find the pork exciting but the beef was not a good experience with those annoying cartilage. The BBQ lamb is okay, coming from a Kiwi, who loves our lamb. The hotpot made the Melbourne chill... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Phi Phi 2:
the first time in this restaurant at the arrival seemed great. but after we only asked for 10 minutes floor manager very abruptly and rudely whether we could order as we had to be out 730pm, which it was only 6pm. eating was ok staff, where very friendly and helpful beside the floor manager. I understand that she has a job to do, but abit rather curious for customers who could in turn pay their lonely be helpful. Apa... View all feedback.

The BBQ lamb is okay, coming from a Kiwi, who loves our lamb. The hotpot made the Melbourne chills go away. We had to ditch our BYO shiraz, as the place is apparently not a BYO, we ended up sipping a Korean wine, which is a new experience for me.
Immediately upon arrival we were very warmly welcomed and this continued all night. There were 5 of us and we ordered Korean BBQ with various meats & Seaford as well as veggies under the guidance of staff. The BBQ was set up and cooked in front of us and was absolutely delicious, every single thing. The atmosphere is great and staff are really accomodating and friendly, and they make really nice cocktails and mocktails.Highly recommend this wonderful place and will definitely be back!!!
The place was dirty and my barber was poor companyOn top of that, they charged me $35 for a basic cut instead of the price listed.
The service was terrible. The staff couldn't communicate effectively. We were only given 6 small pieces of diced chicken for $13. Despite asking multiple times, we still couldn't figure out how the Korean BBQ service worked. Some waiters said we would get plenty of chicken included in the price, while others claimed we would need to pay $13 for each additional plate of 6 pieces of chicken. As a result, my partner left the restaurant hungry. Overall, it was not worth the money.
This restaurant offers a unique experience similar to Korean BBQ. The staff is attentive and the food is well-prepared. We tried a BBQ platter that feeds 3-4 people, which included wagyu steak, prawns, pork belly, and steak strips. It came with salad and raw vegetables to roast. While the overall experience was enjoyable, we felt that something was missing and it may not become a regular spot for us. We recommend trying it out for the experience, but suggest Phi Phi 1 across the road as an alternative option. We dine there a few times a month and enjoy it.
