Staff are laid back but attentive. Food is good and not over priced. Ambience is just as it should be: this is totally unpretentious, kids are wandering about, dogs, families eating, locals chaffing, staff come and go all seem content with their lives. Although the pub was friendly, the comedy club was awful. The compère was great but most of the so called ‘comedians’ were horrendous to the point of near silence in the room( everyone had been told NOT to heckle).
