I was very disappointed with my experience. We walked in, wet and cold, with six hungry children just after 2 PM, only to be told that the kitchen had already closed for the day. The pub was nearly empty, with just one other patron present, and the unwelcoming landlady suggested that children weren't allowed at the bar.
