Last week, I ordered a regular Taco Supreme and the taco shells were all stale. Today, I ordered three Taco Supremes, and none of them had any tomatoes. I won’t bother complaining since it doesn’t seem to help. This will be the last time I eat here or at any KFC. The quality has really gone downhill.
The staff at KFC was excellent, handling limited supplies with great care. Even at 9pm, they remained open and served us. Unfortunately, their menu was quite limited, offering only chicken that had been sitting in the warmer for a while. The food was just okay, but the staff were very apologetic, cheerful, and friendly throughout our visit.
I ordered a 3-piece meal through the drive-thru, but when I received it, the pieces were so small they looked like they were meant for a pigeon! I returned to the restaurant, and the staff was very apologetic. They replaced my meal with much larger pieces and even gave me free fries and cookies as a sorry for the trouble. I really appreciated their kindness. This would have been a 5-star experience if not for the initially tiny portions.
I took my granddaughter to the KFC in Brewer, Maine for dinner tonight. We ordered a K9 meal with four chicken tenders and a K10. Based on past experiences, we checked the order bag for utensils, and, as expected, there were none. We also forgot to check for napkins, and there were none of those either. When we opened the bag, we discovered that the K9 only contained three tenders instead of the four I had paid for. To make matters worse, my granddaughter noticed that I was charged 10 cents for the bag our order came in. While I think the food is quite good, I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with the service at this restaurant. Charging me for a bag while failing to provide utensils, napkins, and messing up my order feels like a complete rip-off.
I ordered two popcorn meals along with two sides of coleslaw. I always double-check my order at this location, and I had to ask for the rolls, butter, and dipping sauce. The staff member at the window was quite rude, as if it were my fault that the person packing the bags couldn't read! After leaving the window, I had to park and go inside to get utensils, where I found myself waiting behind another customer who was looking for the same thing. To make matters worse, the soda I received wasn’t the kind I ordered. The service was extremely disappointing! We won't be coming back. My advice is that when someone asks for your order, it might be a good idea to ask them what they feel like giving you. This isn't my first negative experience with them, but it will definitely be my last!
