I've been going to Jakes for years, went even during the pandemic when they were allowed to be open and it's always a great time! Yes service was slow this time, but we remember that it was their first time really opened since March...2020 and almost a complete house. I waited few minutes before someone acknowledged I was there. The place wasn’t even busy, it was half empty. The furniture and condition of the deco need some attention in general. The table covers (vinyl are falling apart. The service (once I got sat was good. The lady was very attentive and always smiling. We always have a great time at Jakes! Food is perfect pub food .. staff is friendly and fun!
