I found this restaurant to have excellent food and a unique atmosphere! While it's certainly not upscale, its somewhat shabby appearance gives it that charming hole-in-the-wall vibe you find in many of the best local eateries across the U.S. The table salsa was unexpectedly flavorful and had a nice kick to it. If there’s ever a place that can be called a true 'local' hangout, this is it. Located on the outskirts of North Boulder, this authentic Mexican restaurant offers a diverse menu with plenty of options. Be cautious, though—you might find yourself filling up on the flavorful chips and salsa, which pack a bit of heat. The dishes are perfectly seasoned, delivering a wonderful taste. I was fortunate enough to enjoy dinner here, and it was the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time.
Delicious food and excellent margaritas! I was in town for a wedding and decided to grab lunch here. If I ever find myself in the area again, I will definitely return.
I’ve been to Wapos several times and each visit is great! Their house margaritas and sangria are super delicious. The apps and entrees are yummy and full of flavor. The atmosphere is very authentic and welcoming.
It was a fun restaurant with delicious food and exceptionally friendly service. We tried the fish tacos and a combo plate, and both were fantastic!
