The caffe aion (near the college and the fox theater) is a wonderful place for paella and delicious tapas (do not miss the fried cauliflower or mushrooms in the season. there are paellas are delicious, but not as big as they think (they say it serves two that it with appetizers, etc., but men and some can easily order only one per person.) the ambiente is great. it is out of the way (if they are not near the college,) but absolutely worth the ride. I have brought many friends from the city and everything has enjoyed it immensely. when they live in boulder, they visit the many specials that are held on different days of the week. despite the proximity of the college, parking was never a problem.

I had a wonderful experience at Cafe Aion, located near the college and the Fox Theater. It's an excellent spot for indulging in paella and mouthwatering tapas—make sure to try the fried cauliflower and seasonal mushrooms. The paellas are tasty, although they aren't as large as they claim; they say it serves two, which is true if you order appetizers, but some may find it suitable for just one person. The atmosphere is fantastic, and even though it's a bit out of the way if you're not near the college, it's definitely worth the trip. I've taken several friends from out of town, and they all loved it. If you're a Boulder local, check out the various specials offered throughout the week. Surprisingly, despite its proximity to the college, I've never had any issues finding parking.
