I'm surprised this rundown joint didn't close years before it did. This was the dumpiest brewpub I've ever been to in 40 years. It was very lowdown casual, the prices were reasonable, the service terrible, the food ale good enough. I used to only visit about once every 5 years or so, whenever I went cabin camping in Big Basin Redwoods. It was the only pub with grub in town. The last time I was there was 10 years ago.
