Popped in for a pint and something to eat, staff looked after me as I was strapped for time and took my order before the kitchen officially opened, the food was tasty and just the right amount, atmosphere was nice. What Horncastle2 doesn't like about Black Bull Inn:
They advertise ribs on the menu but on the 3 occasions we have been here they haven't been available. Ordered the sausage and mash today and was very disappointed. 3 tiny overcooked sausages,lots of mashed potatoes but no vegetables at all !!!
