The restaurant Nico in the North End is a charming spot with excellent service. While some guests were disappointed with the pre-made tableside Cacio e Pepe and missing appetizers, others praised the atmosphere, fresh bread, and delicious dishes like Sacchetti and Rigatoni alla Vodka. The restaurant is adorned with photos of the owner with celebrities, and during the summer, guests can enjoy a breeze from outside when the windows are open. Overall, guests enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers, and main courses, with some mentioning the veal Parmesan as a standout dish. The bar service was also commended for their modern vibe and impressive drinks like the Manhattan. Despite some service mishaps, many guests expressed a desire to return to Nico for their outstanding food, cocktails, and service.

What Brendan Monot doesn't like about Nico:
Pretty tight space. Unfortunately we had a 2 table right outside the kitchen and around a corner with heavy traffic from customers and servers. Felt like a scalding hot dish was going to land on my head and people were breathing on my food as they were coming and going... Bad luck on table placement. Also the music is quite loud. Food was excellent though. View all feedback.
