Nestled just off the freeway, this charming burger shack offers a nostalgic drive-in experience highlighted by delicious, generously-sized burgers and fries. While the menu can be confusing for newcomers, locals rave about the bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Friendly and prompt service enhances the experience, though some patrons note inconsistencies in food preparation. The cozy space, filled with character, does show signs of wear, but if you're willing to overlook the decor, the food is well worth it. For a delightful bite reminiscent of classic diners, this spot is a must-visit, especially for burger enthusiasts.

Was Victoria W at C D Drive-in a mag?
I stopped in for a quick meal during a road trip, and I love these kinds of food stops because the choices are always unique. We ordered burgers, which were fantastic, along with fries and a chili dog. Everything was delicious, and we were on our way in no time. View all feedback.
What Tyler Thompson dislikes about C D Drive-in:
Honestly not a bad place at all. I stop in here for lunch after I'm done duck hunting and it hits the spot. The Rodeo burger is my go-to and the curly fries are great. View all feedback.
An Oasis in the Desert. Food stops are few and far between on I-84, and C&D is a very tasty and pleasant surprise. Not only do they have the typical burgers and shakes, but they actually make their own donuts, cookies, and brownies. I had a maple donut that tasted awesome and was super cheap (1/2 off .38). Stop here! You won't regret it!
These burgers were like a mix between Fergie and Jesus. Pleasantly surprised. Quite the hidden gem on the historical Oregon Trail.
I ordered the elk burger and it was a disappointment. It's clearly overcooked and looks nothing like other elk burgers. I'm actually not sure this patty wasn't just ground beef because it didn't really taste like elk either. The place wasn't busy, I wasn't in a hurry, and I even tipped. I wish they would've taken the time to get the burger right. I also ordered the buffalo burger and that was actually cooked worse. I was asked if I wanted cheese and said yes. The burger was actually so overcooked the patty turned black and was stuck to the bun. The people inside were nice, the only thing I noticed was when you go to pay they aren't very helpful and just stand there like a statue. I put three stars because I'm willing to give the place another chance. I'll try a regular burger next time and see how it goes.
