Kabuki - BLAKELY
Kabuki
Description
Nestled in Peckville, this hibachi restaurant has become a local favorite for its vibrant dining experience, with chefs preparing meals right before patrons' eyes. While many enjoy the generous portions and reasonable prices, recent experiences indicate a decline in service quality, with instances of rude staff affecting the overall dining atmosphere. Some diners have noted discrepancies in food flavors and preparation, such as overly salty dishes and insufficiently cooked rice. Despite these issues, the culinary talents of the chefs and the appeal of hibachi dining continue to attract families and groups looking for a fun and hearty meal.

My first experience at a hibachi grill was fantastic! My girlfriend treated me to dinner, and we had such a great time. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our chef did a wonderful job; the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend checking this place out. As a side note, I ordered the NY strip steak, which came with a generous amount of sides, as shown in the photo below.
Kabuki used to be my go-to hibachi spot since I live just down the road. I visited in early spring and had a really unpleasant encounter with a rude server who rolled his eyes when we ordered drinks and practically slammed our food down on the table. I decided to give them another chance for my nephew’s birthday because he had been eager to go. Unfortunately, the same server was working and was just as disrespectful. Our group of eight filled a hibachi table, but the server was impatient, rude, and cut us off multiple times. He also wrote down the order incorrectly, even after we corrected him. His attitude was so bad that our chef actually spoke to him about it. I definitely won’t be coming back, not even for takeout. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because our chef was fantastic and helped make a very uncomfortable experience a little more bearable.
Delicious food—I didn’t even have time to take photos because I was too busy enjoying the meal. I went out with my girlfriend and her family, and we had four meals for just $100 total. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hibachi steak was fantastic. At $17 each, we all got fried rice, noodles, vegetables, and more. There was plenty of food; we were completely stuffed, and my family even had leftovers. Definitely worth it—I highly recommend!
I can definitely said that you get more than your moneys worth from this restaurant. I went in and had the lunch special and was very happy with it. The salad dressing didn?t thrill me as I?m used to a bit sweeter ginger dressing. I think this one is possibly more traditional and definitely healthier for you than the ones that other restaurant use. The rice was amazing I got the chicken hibachi lunch and was very happy with it. Their sushi was also very good though the roles were kind of stuck together. I think that the spicy salmon was possibly premade the Panko shrimp one was much better. Best general tso chicken ever.
