"This is an unpretentious and comfortable countryside hotel set in beautiful, well-maintained grounds. We had the option to dine on cozy sofas or in the dining room, and we chose the former. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious.".

Disappointingly misleading. This is not a castle, this is the hunting lodge, the castle no longer exists. This is not mentioned when you book. Also, we had 2 rooms booked and one room came with full amenities (complimentary toiletries etc) and the other one did not, which we found odd. However, the views were magical! Staff were delightful and the dinner was absolutely delicious! Would visit again, just wish we knew... View all feedback.
