Wow, wow, wow. Our second visit to a two-star restaurant led us to Tim Raue after Opus V in Mannheim. We had the lunch menu. You can't eat better for the price. Very discreet service, delicious food and good wines. What do you want? We'll be back at the next Haupstadt visit. View all feedback.

This is as good as it gets. We had a five course lunch at T.R and Everything from the service to the ambiance and food was nothing short of spectacular. I only had to take one bite of my pork dumbling with pepper and mayonaise to understand the level of food T.R serves up. Before our visit, me and my wife talked about how much you can elevate asian food. Now we know how great you can do when you elevate it and turns it into magic fine dining fusion. We had the Wasabi langoustine wich was a "must have" signature dish and well Worth the extra 12 € on top of the normal lunch price tag. The T.R version of the Peking Duck was another must and had three different plates wich all came together with the classic flavors of the original dish but much refined and with a duck broth that blew me away. Beef with pepper and XO sauce, Chicken with peanut sauce and Hamachi with jade sauce was among other of our favourites but all dishes was so tasty that its hard to choose. The prices are as you can imagine and our tab ended up at around 250 € with one bottle of riesling, water and a chinese beer. The service is just perfect without beeing too much as some Michelin restuarants. We had another great meal at 3 star iconic l'Astrance in Paris but honestly, this one was even better. So if you find yourself in Berlin and want to devour a meal that will leave you breathless and craving more. This is the place without a doubt.
It was an amazing experience! we had the tasting menu, and it was simply delicious. Every single bite was a dream.....The wine list is incredible and the wine we chose, suggested by the sommelier, was sooo good!Loved every dish in the tasting menu including their dessert!the flavours are a great asian fusion, and we loved every single bite!
Family lunch with each of us selecting 4 dishes. Highest rated were the satay chicken & wasabi langoustine. Peking duck did not live up to expectations as was rather bland.Dim sum pork got top marks.Pomelo desert got a thumbs down but the quince one was lovely.Service was impeccable but wines expensive .
A perfect evening. Excellent cuisine, sensational wine pairings, and unparalleled staff. A fantastic four-hour culinary journey that satisfied all the senses, with each dish bringing a new surprise. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience.
An experience, not a restaurant visit! My brother and I visited Tim Raue for the first time – and it wasn 't just my first visit there, but also my very first Michelin-starred restaurant. After just a few minutes, it was clear: This wasn 't just good food for a lot of money, but an experience. A 4.5-hour mini-vacation for all the senses. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was warm, professional, yet pleasantly relaxed. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and authentic. You were never condescending – on the contrary: there was laughter, jokes, and you felt completely welcome. Every single course was a small work of art: perfectly matched flavors, bold combinations, and a magnificent balance. The wine pairing was also superb – perfectly matched to each dish and presented with great dedication. The explanations of origin, character, and interplay were exciting, understandable, and made every sip a part of the overall experience. Shortly after we started, we each received our own menus, tailored precisely to our individual combinations. This meant we could always read what to expect – even though every single server explained exactly what was on the plate and how to enjoy it. When a course consisted of multiple components, there were even charming eating instructions indicating the best order for experiencing the flavors. My brother 's allergies and special requests were accommodated naturally and perfectly – without it ever feeling like a compromise. The service was outstanding overall – professional, well-coordinated, and warm. Maja and Oliwer, in particular, made the evening unforgettable with their attentiveness, humor, and a very special gesture. You could tell that the people here work with real passion – both in the service and in the kitchen. We took breaks, enjoyed the evening in peace, and the team completely accommodated us. No pressure, no rush – just pure hospitality and enjoyment at the highest level. I went home with a big smile and the feeling of having experienced something truly special. Thanks to the entire team for an evening that was more than just a dinner—it was an experience that will last forever. And one thing is for sure: This was definitely not our last visit!
