This restaurant close to the Stasi prison ( hohenschönhausen memorial) serves great German food. The waiter did not speak much English and we do not speak German but she was super friendly and made our experience really pleasant. Highly recommend. View all feedback.
This is very close to Hohenschonehausen. Went in to try it. It was early lunchtime. There was one other table there-apparently regulars. The owner ?? was very pleasant and offered the menu quickly. She took the order and the food came pretty fast. A few...more came in. The food was so delicious! Seemed like it was truly made for us. It was fresh and hot. Nothing fancy but great comfort food. The other tables were also friendly. Thank you!!
We enjoyed our meal at this local restaurant. The menu featured an unusual duck and goose stew, which was well done, but reminded me why I don't eat duck and goose on a regular basis. It's not worth a detour to eat there, but it...is a good choice for anyone heading to/from the Hohenschoenhausen Memorial.
We called here on our way back from hohenschönhausen memorial and were pleased to find somewhere to rest our aching feet. The lady serving us didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much German but she was very helpful and patient with us nonetheless....The food was amazing (I am a vegetarian and found it difficult to find somewhere in Berlin where both myself and my carnivore partner could eat. I had a big salad with feta cheese and fried Camembert. Lovely food, lovely staff and reasonably priced. The waitress was also very quick to come back to us with the bill/drinks etc when we asked which was rare in Berlin. Thank you for a lovely meal
The food was delicious and arrived relatively quickly despite the restaurant being full. The service was very friendly and always with a smile. The only downside was that finding a parking space was really difficult if you were driving. Otherwise, full marks. I'd gladly come again.
