Was Ara H at Maru a mag?
The adaptation of traditional Korean food is very interesting. In my personal opinion, I am sure that the chef understands Korean food very well. Plating is beautiful and the taste is impressive, so it is probably one of the top Korean restaurants in Berlin. View all feedback.
What Carla Kopp dislikes about Maru:
Presentation of food very nice, Taste quite good apart from the soup made out of asian boullion bags, the same I use in my kitchen bought for a package. I have expected something more exotic in the taste. I took ramen. Cost of food...OK! Waitress a bit unfriendly. I was waiting for a friend of mine to pay but she looked to be reaaally inpatient View all feedback.
We've been going to Maru for a couple of years and always enjoyed the casual atmosphere and authentic cuisine. When they closed for renovations in I got worried. No more worries though, they have reopened, redecorated, and importantly redone the menu to include an...amazing range of new dishes. Service is polite and helpful as always. No fake Koreans here ; I haven't worked my way through the new menu just yet, but really enjoyed trying the new options both vegetarian and not so vegetarian. Prices have increased just a bit but frankly I always wondered how they made ends meet with the old prices. Highly recommended
This was my first Second Korean Experience and I'll definitely be back. The food was delicious, the service really friendly and the price was okay. Great little discovery
