Waffles are not freshly made and wasn't reheated properly. My girlfriend found a small hair on the waffle after two bites, wiped it off and it fell to the ground. When I told a member of staff, she didn't believe this and only when I went crawling on the ground to find the hair at her request, did she back down and just say fine goodbye and didn't charge us. Nachdem der Laden auf einigen Berlinportalen über den grünen Klee gelobt wurde und wir Lust auf eine normale Waffel hatten, sind wir zum ersten Mal in die Cassonde gefahren. Mit normale Waffel meine ich eine gut gemachte Waffel mit wenig Extras. Diese überladenen Superwaffeln der Mitbewerber sind mir einfach zu viel (auch besser bekannt als Obstdöner). In Cassonade gibt es Belgische Waffeln. Ein gutes USP wie ich ich finde. Jedenfalls kommt man in den Laden und man riecht nichts! Ich erwarte in einem Waffelladen, dass man den leckeren Teiggeruch riecht, der beim Backen so verführerisch duftet. Dies ist hier nicht der Fall. Ich habe beim Sitzen beobachtet wie das Personal fertige Waffeln aus dem Backoffice geholt hat. Es scheint Fertigware zu sein. Dies möchte ich natürlich nicht unterstellen aber das erklärt wieso man nichts gerochen hat. Ein weiteres Indiz ist die Temepratur der Waffel: eine frische Waffel sollte richtig heiß sein sodass das Eis schmilzt. Die Waffel war eher lauwarm. Fast Zimmertemperatur. Dazu kommt dann noch, dass billigstes TK-Eis serviert wird. Dies alles ist rein objektiv und sachlich festgestellt. Reine Fakten. Und daher komme ich auf diese Wertung. Super schade! Immerhin: Der Kaffee hat geschmeckt und preislich geht es in Ordnung. Aber ich komme hier garantiert nicht mehr her.
Local muy pequeño y sin baño, cubiertos sucios, servicio malo y lento. Los crepes... bien, pero no lo recomendaría, en Berlín hay muchos restaurantes mejores para elegir.
Bestellt wird an der Theke und auch später bezahlt. Die nette Frau hintern Tresen, ist sehr freundlich und auf Fragen. Gibt sie Empfehlungen. Ich bestellte Lütticher Waffel mit Apfelmus und Vanille Eis für 3,20€.Das ein tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist.
We were eating Indian food next door and wanted a cappuccino and ice cream on O-Street. We ended up at Cassonade by chance. The cappuccino was good, the ice cream wasn't outstanding, but ok. The best thing was the super nice service from a cheerful and entertaining waitress. The little break was fun. The small table in front of the café was ideal for watching what was happening on Oranienstrasse. Next time I would try crepes or a waffle. We will be back! A small cafe, the condition was a bit boring and slow. The crepe looked good, but unfortunately it was half raw. The coffee tasted pretty average. The tables and chairs are not that comfortable. Card payment is possible from €10.
