Menu
The place from Berkeley offers 99 different menus and drinks on the menu for an average price of $8.6.
Tacubaya is a hidden gem that offers consistently excellent Mexican cuisine. The restaurant has a refined feel and a slightly higher price point compared to other Mexican options, but the food is worth it. The Chile Rellenos are a standout dish, full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The vegetarian and vegan options are also delicious, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions. The tacos, especially the Al Pastor, are a must-try. The atmosphere is colorful and inviting, with a spacious and open layout. The drinks menu is also expanded and offers a great selection. Overall, Tacubaya is a fantastic choice for a delicious and satisfying Mexican meal in a vibrant setting.

Was Hope Lucas Altman at Tacubaya a mag?
Went on a busy Sunday afternoon. The staff worked to move the line quickly. I had the chile relleno. It was delicious! It is nice that they have vegetarian and vegan options. View all feedback.
What Ariana restaurants dislikes about Tacubaya:
The service was decent, but the food lacked flavor. There was no real "spice" in this Mexican cuisine. The salsa wasn't fresh. I ordered a torta and some tacos, but my torta order was incorrect. View all feedback.
I have never had a bad meal here, a real Fourth Street stapleGreat vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Every single time I've been here we're encountered with rude service, like they are doing someone a favor.
Been here several times, but finally am getting around to writing a review. Great spot for vegetarians.
This was our first visit there. I absolutely loved their chicken enchiladas! They were packed full of chicken and had a different type of cheese (might be feta) on top to add a flavorful taste. The non alcohol drinks are lacking in types. You have 2 spots to order from at the bar and huge wipe board menus to see when you first walk in. We asked the girl behind the bar some questions about contents in some items and she already knew the answers (pleasant surprise) she was also friendly. The people who brought put the food seemed off somehow. The younger dark haired one comes off as annoyed and I asked for sugar for my tea and her reply was no, we dont carry that here. The server who brought our food was older but trying hard to please everyone. She was working hard and did find me some sugar for the ice tea. It 's unclear if they are considered a waitress/waiter because they don 't take your order, so we didn 't know if we clear our own plates and are we supposed to tip for such little service. (They dropped off food and didn 't come back) The food was wonderful, the service was ehh, cleanliness was good. Seating is a lot of large tables and fewer small for just couples. So you may have to share a table with a stranger if they run out of open seating. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: They offered things like mushroom quesadillas and other options.
