Been here a couple times and the popcorn chicken is pretty good. Boba is alright but nothing too special. Would like a more rich flavor if anything. Would probably come back though. Nice area with other good places nearby as well. View all feedback.

Purple Kow is located by UC Berkeley, so it gets busy here. Parking is street parking, but since it is Berkeley it may be hit or miss. This location is two stories, usually they will let you hang upstairs where there are chairs and tables there for you to hang out and enjoy your boba. I had tried multiple drinks that I do not like, so I usually just stick with the jasmine milk tea with boba. The milk tea is just okay... View all feedback.
I've been visiting Purple Kow in Berkeley for around 8 years, and it remains one of my favorite boba shops! It's definitely in my top 3. My go-to order is the D3, which is Purple Kow's special milk with caramel, egg pudding, and boba. The boba is sweet and chewy, while the milk drink is creamy and almost tastes like whipped cream. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
Purple Kow is a trendy spot featuring some really unique cups. The way they package their drinks sets them apart from other boba shops. The customer service is friendly, helpful, and patient. As for the boba quality, it’s good—though not the absolute best—it definitely satisfies my boba cravings. I highly recommend visiting Purple Kow; I always feel stylish walking around downtown Berkeley with their distinctive cup in hand!
This is the best boba place I've ever been to! The flavors are incredible, and the texture is outstanding. Without a doubt, it's the top boba shop in the Bay Area. The snacks are fantastic as well—the popcorn chicken and Tabango wings are absolutely amazing!
Good milk tea place in Berkeley. But tea flavor need to be improved. I ordered the hot B2, the tea tasted bitter.
