I love this place—it’s a bit of a hidden gem. They offer great beer options and some of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. I love this place—it’s a bit of a hidden gem. They offer great beer options and some of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. It’s actually two businesses combined: Delirama handles the food while Olfactory Brewing focuses on the beer. Delirama’s pastrami sandwiches come in two varieties: a hot option for $18, which is hands down the best pastrami I’ve had, and a cold fridge sandwich for $8, which I usually order. I visit about three times a week and couldn’t recommend it more, especially if you enjoy good beer and pastrami. The $8 fridge hoagie is a must-try. Service is takeaway-focused. Perfect spot for lunch, with prices between $1–10. Food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. Highly recommended!
The sandwiches at Olfactory Brewing are the best in town. The mix of acidity and richness is spot-on, with perfectly toasted bread and top-notch pastrami. The coleslaw is so good it actually makes me want to eat more veggies. A solid 10/10. The beer and food pairing is fantastic. Highly recommended! Olfactory Brewing offers the best sandwiches in Berkeley by far! Their menu features fresh, delicious options with generous portions. Finally, Berkeley has a spot where you can enjoy tasty pastrami and carefully crafted sandwiches. Just take a look at their sandwiches—they truly speak for themselves. The $8 cold hoagies are satisfying, made fresh daily, and far superior to the overpriced, mediocre options elsewhere in Berkeley.
