We ordered delivery, and were not disappointed. The al pastor torta was good, the salad and other items were delicious. The flavors are fresh and unexpected, look forward to more meals from this place.
I ordered a carnitas burrito with guacamole/avocado. The filling was honesty quite good--well-seasoned and thoroughly mixed so you get all the ingredients in a single bite. However, the tortilla was... half-cooked? Underdone? I'm not sure what happened, but both myself and a friend had pale, dense, chewy tortillas that, to me, significantly detracted from everything else. As a result, you might want to avoid the burritos and go for something else on the menu.
Comal Next Door is a great option for a quick but delicious meal. I usually order/pay on their website and the food is ready within 15 minutes! Pickup is super easy and my order is always correct. Parking in the area can be a pain, so consider walking or biking; there is also a BART station close by. While the food here isn’t traditional Mexican fare, it is super tasty and imaginative (Chile relleno burrito!! . They have lots of healthy options for all eaters (omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans , and even sell bottled cocktails like margaritas. If you have more time or want to up your foodie game, consider dining at the OG restaurant, Comal. Enjoy!
