I've been going to cafe Rio for years now and always they are open and available to people. centrally located near university, Roy Sara family owners are nice and have cold sandwiches, nice selection on beverages with reasonable prices. RECOMMENDED View all feedback.

I had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant with a vanilla latte and a Ham, Egg, and Cheese Bagel. I am staying at the Residence Inn across the street and I am so happy I discovered this hidden gem!
This cafe in Berkeley is the absolute worst I have ever been to. The owner was extremely rude and the service was terrible overall. The atmosphere and food were lackluster as well. I would never visit this place again in this life or any other.
This family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem! Sara and Roy are truly wonderful hosts - friendly, kind, and always ensuring that I have everything I need while I dine or work there. For breakfast, don't miss out on trying their delicious BLT sandwich, and for lunch, the hot pastrami is a must-try. Trust me, you'll thank me later! Plus, they serve food quickly, so you won't have to wait long for your meal.
