The place is very relaxing, with many tables in the garden, in the shade. They usually have a larger menu but we went in the last day of holidays and because they had too many customers they shortened the menu, offering only quick/easy to cook...food. We eat hot pan with chicken and Pleșcoi sausages, made at home bread and roasted beans as appetizers. The food was delicious and the prices are good.
Very good rooms, good quality services, beautiful garden, quiet place near the river Buzau, possibilities to discover the treasures of the Buzau Land Geopark.
Nice terrace surrounded by a beautiful garden. Tasty food, good service. Nothing complicated or fancy, just the real thing. Will come again.
Casa Matei has a wonderfully friendly staff, a great location in a beautiful area, and a seriously great restaurant with tasty local food. It is a good place to start tours to Buzau Valley,especially to the Mud Volcanoes.

After quite some time, we placed our orders. Afterwards other 2 waiters came, at 2 minutes time one after another, intending to take our orders : . Good part is that they brought the food VERY quickly. I had Tochitură, which was good and not expensive.
