I've never been to Regular Britain but the Lil' version in Bennington, VT seems like the real deal. The batter on the fish was perfectly golden and unbelievably crispy. I took a chance on something new and tried the mushy peas, but they must be an acquired taste, like marmite or monarchy. Their house branded root beer was really good too. Highly recommend. Spent the night in Vermont and stumbled upon this place. This was the best fried fish and fried shrimp I've ever eaten!!! The fish was so flaky with an amazingly crunchy crust. The shrimp was fried perfectly! Not rubbery at all with a delicious crunch.Even the fries were delicious. I would absolutely recommend eating here. Wish it was closer to me.
Amazing food and service but do be aware, DINE IN IS NOT OPEN, THEY ARE CURBSIDE PICK-UP ONLY STILL. You must call ahead to place your order, and pick it up in the parking lot around the back of the building.
