this place is fantastic. the menu has a lot of products that are vegan, gf and soy free, and allium free. we brought a big party here, and they had menu items to suit all our nutritional needs. The Poke shell is really amazing, along with the Hummus shell. we had different drinks, and all agree that the strawberry russian is our favorite. they also use local ingredients. woo hoo! On March 26, 2022, I had dinner at Quantum Leaf (quantumleafbham) at 7PM. I decided to dine at this newly opened restaurant because it is owned by the same people behind SconeGrown, my favorite place in the city for delicious vegan baked goods. I love everything they create, from scones to drinks. I started with a strawberry-rose mocktail, which was beautiful and refreshing. I also enjoyed a bright and sunny ginger beer, a non-alcoholic drink that was perfect for the evening. The poke bowl was fantastic, with a texture that closely resembled real tuna. The veggie roll and miso soup were amazing, with a unique coconut taste that was refreshing. The miso soup was warm and comforting, especially on a cold day. I look forward to trying more dishes from the menu in the future, especially as the weather gets warmer. Plus, Helga loves her new hat!
This restaurant in Birmingham serves some of the best vegan dishes. Their sushi is especially amazing!
I had the Poké bowl with Zeastar Tuna, brown rice, cabbage, Kimchi, avocado and spicy Mayo. I enjoyed it. I also had a Lime Ginger Fizz and a chocolate cannon with a chocolate chocolate chocolate cream. Very delicious. Updated by previous review on 2022-08-28
Loved this place especially their sushi and bowls- the hummus was to die for- some of the best hummus I’ve ever had
3/26/22 Dinner at Quantum Leaf @quantumleafbham) 7PM decided to have dinner in a newly opened restaurant that I die to go because it is owned by the fine people who have blessed us with SconeGrown @sconegrown, my favorite place in town for baked vegan treats. I'll eat everything they produce. Even if it's poisonous. Wait, am I in a cult? No... started with a strawberry-rose mule. Nice, refreshing. I love mint. Ginger beer from Bright Sunny @brightandsunnygingerbeer). Great drink, that was all right without alcohol. Alcohol Shmalcohol! Not everything needs alcohol. Alcohol abuse is stupid. Animal abuse is stupid. Strawberry Rose Mules are not stupid. Poke Bowl was fantastic. I am still so enthusiastic about the engineers who have designed the “Tuna” because the texture with the real thing is inevitable. And the bowl was perfectly designed and balanced with the whole Poke Bowl quality to mix. Veggie Roll with Miso Soup was amazing. I had a lot of sushi in my life, but I never really had it. It had a unique coconut flavor that was refreshing for sushi. The Miso Soup was also warm and wonderful. My hands were particularly cold this day and it warmed me up. There are so many other dishes on the menu that I can't wait to try, and I'm sure I get a chance soon, especially when the weather gets more beautiful and my desire for refreshing drinks / food increased! Plus, Helga loves her new hat!
