A highlight of our cycling touring holiday is when we can find a most enjoyable menu du jour and the food at the Terre De Loire was superb. A little more expensive than our usual lunch time meal,however, the three course lunch was one of our best during our ten week tour through France. Other reviews were positive, so perhaps they were having an off day. The food was very ordinary and the prices were high. Why ask how we want our steaks cooked (medium) and then make all three of them well-done anyway? Three of us ordered strawberries for dessert but were later told that there were no strawberries left.
