Was Anonym at Les Acacies a mag?
I don't leave my ass with the negative reviews I've read lately. I have to say that 4 years ago I didn't visit the restaurant, but I consider myself a critic and specialist in paellas all over the Spanish/català elevator and in my life I tried a seafood paella so spectacular in flavor and texture, it's my first 1. said this, or I've changed the cooks, or I don't understand so much without criterion. We would return happily we discounted the over priced competition on (a) price; (b) no food appetising to most children (c) the rudeness shown towards a potential customer (not us) trying to book a table.
Having read some of the other reviews of this restaurant, we did approach with a degree of trepidation. We were seated immediately, and a waiter attended to us without delay. The menu is extensive, which made our choice difficult. We ordered the paella (superb) and the cuttlefish (even better). The beer was cold, and the food superb. The setting is wonderful, and the food and drink is reasonably priced. Being in the shadow of Toc Al Mar next door might dissuade some people from eating here, but I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Will be heading here next next we’re in Aiguablava
Reasonable offering, but food quality is really not worth writing home about. But service, location and somewhat reasonable pricing make up for it, so I'd give it something in between 2 4 stars (depending how you weigh these factors yourself). We arrived here, as the (better and more expensive looking) restaurant Toc al Mar had no outdoor seats available and were happy with the kids and adult menu for 12 25 EUR. Portion size was very good, but food quality wasn't. I often eat mussels, but this portion simply didn't taste fresh and well, maybe it was just the sauce that was lacking. Some of the salad ingredients came from a can. Paella was OK, but I've had much better ones in Spain, this one had a strong soy sauce flavour... Service was friendly, location is epic, pricing decent given the location why don't you invest a little in the training of your kitchen and fresher ingredients and you could have a winning place???
They take advantage that there are only two restaurants in this Cala. The other one is a classic one. This one is intended for all the people that did not do a reservation in the competition. Staff do not care about you. Typical restaurant where they do not care to have a clientele but serve and throw away. The food is not bad. Nothing out of this world. Prices are intended to “tourist” and not worthy. Toilets are quite clean
This is one of three restaurants on tve little beach of Aguablava. There is a parking right by the beach cost some 3 euro per hour. We had the black rice with seafood and the minisquids. All very rasty. It took quite some time to get seated and a lot more to get the food but quality very good. The taste of the rice very rich snd great sfter a day on the beach. With view over beach. Has an ok toilet where u can change also.
