We have just eaten the best fish and chips EVER. We 've just returned after two weeks on the south coast, and, over the years, we have sampled many 'award winning ' chippies, but NONE can compare with these guys. The impossibly PERFECT curry sauce had tonnes of flavour without the sadly normal over spicing heat. The tartar sauce was clearly homemade, and the added herbs brought a perfect balance. I saw a few reviews which lowered my expectations but happily I was wrong. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The fish was very good and there was a very generous portion of chips. Really enjoyable meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

While the fish was of satisfactory quality, the chips were utterly disappointing. Regrettably, this incident has prompted me to conclude that I will not be returning to the shop in the future.
