We have really tied the cheese so that this seemed the perfect situation and we were not disappointed. blue cheese and steltons soup, followed by croque monsieur and croque madame, it was absolutely delicious. but no light meal, we felt stuffed to the evening....Staff was also great.

They pass and decided to stop at lunch. was quite disappointed by the service, we sat and ordered our lunch 2 croque monsieur and 2 tees. after 15 minutes our tee arrived, another 15 minutes later no food arrived, we asked a waiter. he went to buy, and he advised that it was a problem with a flee and that was what the delay was. When our food arrived, we had drunk our tee! and no excuse for the delay.
My go-to place for cheese gift boxes hampers. Service is excellent, Murray was a delight when i ordered a gift box for a birthday. They are easy to talk to via email and when there was a mistake in my order they were generous enough to offer a refund. Also, free delivery for orders above £20. Cheeses are amazing, some of the best we’ve tried.
Classy, elegant independent cafe. Atmosphere felt a little flat, but that was mainly down to there only being a few customers present at 10am this was made more acute by the contrast with number of team members present (I counted at least half a dozen! . Coffee was pleasant, and the servers recommendation of pineapple and lime upside down cake was delicious. Service was non intrusive, and tailored questions led us to the choice of cake, if a little formal feeling. The price of the food and drink was reasonable, especially given the location in central Bath. The only (fairly big downside was the mandatory 10% service charge, which is probably why they can have so many team members on shift.
