Overall, the reviews for the restaurant were mixed. Some customers found the food to be average, with issues such as tepid roasts and overcooked burgers. However, others praised the delicious and well-presented meals, with particular mention of the steak and Heke. The service received high marks, with friendly and helpful staff, as well as a kind gesture of taking a mistake off the bill. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also noted, with compliments on the decor and ambiance. Despite some hiccups in service and food quality, many customers expressed a willingness to return and continue supporting the establishment.

What Reinhardt Gross dislikes about The Locksbrook Inn:
Had Sunday Roast. Just OK. Nothing special to write home about. Service a bit slow, but staff very nice. Food not that hot. Potatoes a bit stale. Meat was tender tho and portion sizes good. View all feedback.

After a few really bad visits it seems to have picked up a bit again. that's our local, so let's keep trying. eating was nice yesterday when a little slow on the arrival. they were short staff, but seemed to come in order. app for order seemed not to work properly and complained to me 3 times, but always said the payment failed, they were happy to pay me back. eating was nice enough. the external structure they build is good, meant that it was warm enough to sit outside yesterday.
I've been to Prezzo a few times before and after a nice Saturday afternoon at a concert in the Royal Concert Hall we ended up here for dinner.
The Locksbrook Inn is an absolute insider tip! The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish perfect for a leisurely meal or a relaxed drink by the water. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. The selection of drinks, whether beer, wine or cocktails, leaves nothing to be desired. The location by the water rounds off the ambience perfectly. I will definitely be back an all round successful pub experience. Highly recommended!
