This was the best Indian food we’ve had in the UK! We came in for the lunch menu and were impressed. The broccoli and onion bhaji starters, paired with the korma main, were excellent and perfectly balanced—not too spicy. Arriving early, we were fortunate to be seated by the window with a stunning river view. Service was top-notch throughout. Dine-in lunch, £20–30 per person. I highly recommend Root Spice to anyone visiting Bath. The fine dining experience and atmosphere are wonderful. The staff are friendly, and the service is exceptional. We enjoyed the chicken biryani and chili chicken with garlic naan, which were absolutely delicious—10/10. The chaat was phenomenal, easily a 100/10, and we finished it quickly. We returned two nights in a row because the food was outstanding and the staff were exceptionally attentive. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
