We love the King William and have been going there for some years, mainly for lunch, so we have seen a number of different managers. We consider the current owners, the chef and his wife, are the best yet. The food is delicious and well served. I had to get up twice to ask for service and the food was very poor quality and the portions were very small, even though I ordered a large size.
Small portions most appreciated .We have been coming to King William for years and allways been very happy with everything and will continue to come .

Other dishes are full of flavour, which makes choosing one's meal difficult! The bar area is comfortable and friendly and there is a nice table in the window alcove, excellent for ladies who lunch. All in all, the King William is a lovely, well run establishment, whose staff give customers a delightful dining experience.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday and the food was incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was charming. It's a small place, so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time.
