A small restaurant, a bit off the main roads, with a wonderfully welcoming owner (multilingual including English and Italian). The linguine in vodka sauce were simply outstanding! View all feedback.

We selected this restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. We had a reservation so were seated promptly. Great Small but nice menu, almost everything is homemade and fresh Price/performance is definitely right here
Insider tip in Basel. If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere with really good food, the hostaria is a must. There are three menus at lunch and a small menu in the evening. The restaurant is very small. That's why I would strongly recommend a reservation. The food is made with a lot of love and is therefore very tasty. The host Gianni is also very friendly and concerned about the well-being of the guests. Gianni, we'll be back
Absolutely wonderful staff and excellent authentic food. We had the ravioli, flammkuchen, bolognese, nussli salat and pumpkin soup. A treasure in Basel
