My friend and I dined at Maggate on Tuesday. After being disappointed by local restaurants in the past, we decided to give it a try. The steak meal was cooked perfectly, the staff was friendly, and the kitchen was clean. When we asked about the cook, we found out her name was Jane. We will definitely be returning regularly, as it is much more affordable than other restaurants in the area. View all feedback.

Awful in the end we left and asked for a refund of the children's puddings got to be one of the worst pubs iv ever been to if i could rate it 0 then i would of, there was only 3 tables with people on one of which had been served yet there was still a 1.5 hour wait for mains we received ours half the stuff missing asked for the children's pudding was still waiting over 45 mins in the end i got fed up of waiting View all feedback.
