The mixed grill I have been fantasising about for the last 1,100km... a mixed grill so epic, it needs 3 plates... Rump steak, two lamb cutlets, two rashers of bacon, 2 sausages and 2 eggs... This is the Noah's Ark of meals.This was not on the menu, but the good man on the tools at the Ironbark Inn, BARCALDINE, was more than happy to whip it up for me... We dined for tea and arrived early and the staff member who served us was not helpful. There was quite a wait for our meal and the order was nearly correct. The chef was having tantrums about something unknown to us but the restaurant was quite full by the time we left. Food was tasty and meals were being delivered to the attached motel.
