I found Testa on a whim for dinner with my family. I wanted to find a place that was fairly priced and this place fit the bill. The food was enjoyed the food immensely. We definitely over ordered as the portions were large. Highly recommend to get a dishes to pick and share. Notable plates were clam chowder and the calamari was bomb and came with fried vegetables. Not quite traditional but it was a good twist!
Love the atmosphere and the lobster bib. I ordered the Taste of Maine. I enjoyed it and will certainly recommend and order it again for sure. The only so-so was fried calamari because of too many fried onion rings than calamari.
Good food with friendly service. Had dinner and the chowder was rich and creamy and filling. The fried crouton was a nice touch and flavorful. The lobster mac and cheese was a huge portion with lots of large chunks of lobster and again rich and filling. Easily two meals worth of food and a great value. The drink selection was large and good and service was friendly and helpful. A good option in the area for a dinner of comfort food.
We absolutely loved our dinner here. The calamari with fried veggies was surprisingly delicious. We couldn?t finish it due to the generous portion. Our favorite was the superfood shrimp avocado salad! So refreshing to just eat a pile of greens whileyou?re on vacation that?s not over saturated with dressings or toppings (we opted out of the bacon). The fish and chips wasincredible as well. Loved the ?haddock nugget? and wedge fries! Our leaf peepers beer was yummy too. Our server was great and itwas an overall enjoyable experience on a very busy Sunday night.
