We've visited The Easington quite a few times, including a fun quiz night during our most recent trip. The atmosphere was fantastic—welcoming, with a reasonable entry fee, and everyone seemed to have a great time. The outdoor seating area is another highlight, featuring a heated patio with modern tables and chairs, as well as a play area for children. On the positive side, the pub is spacious and rarely overcrowded, which makes it easy to get a drink at the bar. However, its location can be a downside, as it sits on a busy main road leading out of Banbury towards Chipping Norton, which can contribute to some noise. On the bright side, the value is excellent here, even better than what you’d find at other local places. Overall, The Easington offers great value with its affordable food and drinks, though it could use a touch more atmosphere. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it as a reliable option just outside Banbury.

Disappointing meal out, staff were disengaged and customer service skills could do with some improvement (apart from one lovely lady) Would also be good if you could warn customers of shutting the bar and tell them when food orders stop instead of letting us finish our mains to then be told we can’t order dessert? Though when you book it asks for an end time and online it states you can get takeaway food until 8:45pm. We’ll be going elsewhere in the future. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Booked a table for 6 people, for 7pm arrived on time, ordered food, no mention of 45 minute wait, only small notice on bar, we saw after ordering. when food did arrive it looked as if it had been thrown on the plates. The pub was not very busy at the time . Some of the food wasn't very warm. When we informed a member of staff of this, just said sorry and walked off. We certainly won't be returning here in the near future.
