Today marks the final day of the Haddon Hall Artisan Market, and there's a wonderful Christmas spirit in the air, complemented by beautiful weather. It snowed heavily around midday, adding to the festive atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the house, which is over 900 years old. Interesting and well preserved hall, could do with more information boards, but the staff are lovely and very well informed. There are quite a lot of uneven stairs and floors, so not ideal for anyone with reduced mobility. There are some formal gardens to walk around but no extended estate for a short hike.
