very friendly service, very fair value for money rather calculated to our gunsten. despite time pressure (presentation in pencil) have perfect timing without. very tasty compositions, many very tasty little things in between. the restaurant would have earned room with more environment View all feedback.

probably the restaurant had a bad day. had to drive hungry. - I had no good time. the male performance was unfortunately incapable and unfriendly for a restaurant of this alleged super class. so only 3 stars here should look the star examiners a few more accurate. View all feedback.
I just finished fantastic dinner in this place and I'm speechless. Extraordinary food, served and described by A-class waiters. For sure I'll visit it again.
Great experience - we had a set 6-course menu with wine flights, and left hugely satisfied... Next time though we would possibly go for a la carte and generally eat less :-) Be warned - the number and amounts of amuse-bouche type offerings matches the actually advertised dishes, so you need a big stomach and about four hours to defeat the 6-course offering.Taste combinations are sometimes unusual, but everything works perfectly. There is a lot of thought and inventiveness and food design, including presentation. For me pigeon was the best part, my partner preferred the fish, but everyone at the table enjoyed the experience.
You may go to Bad Hersfeld for renaissance architecture or church ruins but this restaurant makes it worth to stop there by itself. I've been to quite a few one-Michelin-star restaurants but this one ranks among the very best. Perfection from start to end. 5 courses with wine packet for 145€ is a bargain.
