I had appeared at 11:50 with my son for donuts. he had about 100 kolaches left. I asked for half a dozen and pointed out to the ones I wanted to look like most of them were sitting there. he contradicted me and did not let me choose the one I wanted, the ones that look fresh and not old and torn. pretty sure this guy saves the donuts and sells them on the next day.
